Good morning, we are the pupils in the seventh C class.

·                   My name is Ádám VÉGI

·                   My name is Béla FITOS.

·                   My name is Anna BALÁZS.

 V.Á.: We interview Mr. Pfaff in his house. Mr. Pfaff comes from Germany. What is your name?

Mr. Pfaff: My name is Hans Pfaff.

 V.Á.: How old are you?

H.P.: How old am I? I am seventy-four years old.

 B.A.: Where did you come from to Hungary?

H.P.: I came from West Germany, from Pforzheim in Baden-Würtemberg.

 V.Á.: What was the purpose of your coming?

H.P.: The purpose? My wife comes from Hungary. She was Hungarian. I have come to Hungary regularly since 1963. It so happened that we have bought this small house and moved here from Germany. We were longing after a quiet old age.

 K.Zs.: Why have you left your homeland?

H.P.: Well, I came here with my wife because she wanted to return to Hungary and therefore I came with her. She died two years ago and now I live alone.

 F.B.: What kind of problems occurred?

H.P.: We did not have any problems.

 S.J.: How did you come to Balatonlelle?

H.P.: My wife lived here in the past. Her grandmother lived here and my wife attended the school here for a few years. Later she went to Budapest back and her family left Hungary in 1956 when the revolution broke out.

M.G.: Did you come here alone or with the family?

H.P.: No, I came with my wife. My children live in Germany.

 M.G.: What do you like in your new residence?

H.P.: Well, first of all I like this small town because there is no rush, the people know each other, greet each other and this is a quiet region.

 B.A.: What do you miss mostly?

H.P.: I miss especially the good bread, … good bread.

 V.Á.: Do you regret that you left your country?

H.P.: No, not at all.
