 Activity: Calendar       School in Charge: American Academy - Cyprus

 Summary

This activity involves the production of a Calendar for the year 2004 which will be comprised of artwork/photographs produced by our students and which will also contain certain dates, important to our respective countries and schools (National/Religious holidays School dates of importance, EU dates, International dates, summer/winter time).

Theme:  TOURISM   Size:  A3, landscape     Required Information:  Name of student, age, class, school, title

   Other Information:  Please note the dates you feel will make your calendar relevant to your country and school.  Dates for public or religious holidays, school opening and closing dates and other important school dates (e.g. exam session start etc.)

 Each school is to organize an art poster or photographic competition, which will be held internally.  Although the theme is open, since each school has been assigned two months of the calendar it is possible (although not compulsory) for the posters to be themed around activities occurring during those months e.g. December could of course have a “Christmas” or “snow” theme.
