Comenius 2000 Man and Nature – Recycling

This activity involves a clean-up of an environmentally sensitive area.

All schools involved with the project will carry out this activity on May 9, 2000 as this will coincide with European Day.

The clean-up should be conducted in cooperation with the local authorities whose responsibility it will be to remove the bags of rubbish collected.

During the clean-up a brief record as to the quantity and types of rubbish collected must be made and a discussion may follow as to the reasons behind the presence of each type of rubbish.

Results of the clean-up and photographs will then be posted on this page.
