School minibus to transport students to various host families Evening meal with host families for students
Staff taken to hotel by minibus Welcome meal for staff with Richard Metcalfe + other Fairfax staff in Lichfield

Monday 15th MARCH 2004 COMENIUS VISIT DRAFT PROGRAMME Visiting students come to school with host students Day in school - work with Katie Brinkworth, professional artist to produce large collage Lunch provided by school for visiting staff and students Students return to host families at end of school (3.30 p.m.)
Evening – Bowling trip for visiting students, host students and staff Leave school 5.30 p.m., back at school for 10 p.m. – host families to collect students Coach transport arranged (paid for by Fairfax) Students will need £5 - £6 each for this evening to cover entrance to the bowling rink, games and drinks

Tuesday 16th MARCH 2004 COMENIUS VISIT DRAFT PROGRAMME Visiting students come to school with host students Day in school - work with professional theatre company, Big Brum, on the theme of People in Europe Lunch provided by Fairfax for visiting students and staff Students return to host families at end of school (3.30 p.m.)
Evening – Ice skating at Tamworth Snowdome for visiting students, host students and staff Leave school 6 p.m., back at school around 10 p.m. – host families to collect students Coach transport arranged (paid for by Fairfax) Students will need approximately £5 each for entrance to ice rink and drinks etc.

Wednesday 17th MARCH 2004 COMENIUS VISIT DRAFT PROGRAMME Visiting students come to school with host students Visit to Birmingham City Centre for visiting students, host students and staff – coach transport arranged and paid for by Fairfax 12 – 1 p.m. Mayoral reception p.m. possible visit to Aston Villa F.C. Small amount of spending money required for the visit to Birmingham City Centre for drinks, snacks and any presents etc. Return to school by ??? Evening – Farewell presentation at school 7 p.m. – 9 p.m., with buffet Each visiting students to bring a short Powerpoint presentation about their school Prize presentation by Fairfax School Host families to collect students at 9 p.m.
